Today, the use of solar energy is not any longer new to us .

The development of solar energy is derived from the discovery of photovoltaic effect, the production of electricity directly from the sun, by French physicist Edmund Becquerel more than 150 years ago, in the middle of the industrial revolution.

Early photovoltaic power generation remained very inefficient at turning sunlight into electricity.
With the advent of semiconductor technology, however, the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation improved dramatically and became more practical.
Today, photovoltaic power is closer to us in our real life and will be more essential in the near future, we believe.

Why Photovoltaic Power Generation?

There are eminent two reasons why we have to prepare for a renewable energy sources .
First of all before exhausting fossil fuel energy, we have to find out a promising renewable energy sources to replace the conventional fossil fuel and nuclear energy as soon as possible. Also reflecting the planet environment pollution resulting from the use of fossil fuel energy, we have to find out a planet environment friendly energy sources.

Even when photovoltaic power is compared to other renewable energy sources such as wind power, water power, geothermal power, and even solar thermal power, it has some obvious advantages in maintenance, noise, and tremor.
Wind, water, and geothermal power depend on turbines to turn generators to produce electric energy.
Turbines and gsenerators need exhaustible moving parts to break down, which need maintenance, and noisy and tremulous in producing electric energy.
Also solar thermal power needs mechanical parts in generating electricity. But photovoltaic power, by contrast, is generated directly from the sun. Photovoltaic power generation systems have no mechanical moving parts, need virtually no maintenance, and have no noise and no tremor.

Considering the above mentioned reasons, photovoltaic power is the most promising renewable energy source in the world, we believe.
From the standpoint of planet ecocide and the exhaustion of fossil fuel energies, we have to prepare for our near future, getting the electric energy directly from the no pollution and unlimited sunlight as plant gets energies through photosynthesis process.
